“ From the smell as you go in you can tell that the coffee is going to be good. I had a really nice latte that was more on the strong end with woody and slight caramel notes. For £3.75 it feels pretty steep and I wanted to hate it but actually do rate the coffee. Service was friendly. The decor is simple but nice with plenty of light. I did also like that they had a coffee flavour wheel on the wall that I could look at while trying my coffee too. ”

“ Amazing coffee, proper loose-leaf tea (unlike some places just a short walk away charging £3.50 for a sad teabag), and the loveliest team who are clearly passionate, knowledgeable baristas. We came in a few days after Christmas and were greeted by the friendliest staff, who wished us a Merry Christmas and were genuinely warm and welcoming. As we left, they also said goodbye. It sounds like a small thing, but so many places don’t make you feel welcome anymore — it was so lovely to experience that at Picnic.
